About me
I am a retired British Royal Navy engineer. Craftsmanship was melded into me in my early Naval career as I engaged in a five year engineering apprenticeship. Creating complex tools, parts and equipment using metals, wood working and shop machinery to a very high degree of accuracy are skills that have remained with me over the years. Since I retired I have returned to my roots and my love of woodworking and crafting has continued to be my passion.
My creations are of the finest quality and workmanship.
The Woods
The quality of the materials used is just as important as the craftsmanship. I use exotic woods from around the world as well as American domestic woods in crafting my pens and Adirondak furniture,

Choose your one stain or leave the wood unstained to show the beauty of the wood grain. All surfaces are finished with high quality Marine varnishes in flat, satin or gloss. Deep penetrating epoxy is used to protect emdgrain surfaces from moisture.
